The convenience and the conviviality of the owners.
The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good. The location vis a vis the town centre was good. The staff were able to advise us and direct us to a good restaurant.
This is not a hotel. It is a Bed & Breakfast establishment charging hotel prices. In a hotel I would expect there to be a bar and possibly a restaurant. There were neither. The website does not indicate that this is a B&B.
staff were excellent and very helpful, breakfast was excellent
the rooms were quite old and run down although nice, i just didn't think it was worth what i paid
The proffessional attitude of the staff and their attention to detail.Nothing was too much trouble, I had a problem with my TV and it was sorted out in an instant
Excellent family atmosphere, good service and breakfast
the friendly atmospher of the hotel and the privacey
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. When I did have cause to ask for something to be put right, it was dealt with immediately.
My single room, whilst comfortable, was on the small side.
Not the nicest of locations. Parking is available outside but on a meter. Rooms are sparse and not the friendliest of welcomes.
The best thing about Newport Quay is the cooked breakfast and the fact it was close to the venue we were visiting. The staff made us feel very welcome.
Newport Quay is advertised as a four star hotel, there must be a different rating system on the Isle of Wight, it's more like a b&B. It's an old house that's been added on and on.
Very central in Newport. Friendly staff at breakfast. Lovely state of the art bathroom in the room.
Still some work needed in the main entrance on the skirting boards and decoration. No view from the bedroom window. Noise from the room above due to thin ceilings/floors.
Near the place of work on the island.
Room to small and bathroom cramped. As I intend to be on the I.O.W on a regular basis, I will look to book a double (single occupancy). Do you look to offer rates to regular bookings i.e every two weeks for 2 nights minimum, for lets say the next 6 months.
tiny room, not comfortable, price was too much for the standard
The staff were extremely welcoming and accomodating. We were able to check in early. The breakfast was also delicious, very nice bacon.
The shower was not very pressurised and intermitant with the water flow.
The location couldn't have been any better. We were right in the town centre and could walk everywhere. The staff were really helpful too.
the breakfast was good with proper marmalade available
A bit expensive but we did stay in the summer. No car park.
